Awesome game, definitly the best one in the ac series, graphics are great framerate is about 55 fps. I don't know why so many people complain about it.

+Exceptional digital art +Fantastic soundtrack +Great voice cast +Immersive virtual paris -Same old creed new skin -A little 'clunky' feeling compared to other creed titles Playing this on modern gaming hardware is a treat at 1440p. Absolutely blown away by the visuals at times playing this. Story is engaging, of decent length and high quality. It's dirt cheap these days so if you're a creed fan who happens to own a high/mid range rig you owe it to yourself to try this.

First i must say, i delayed playing this game until January, so i could wait until further patching was done and until my new CPU was ready, and i got a good discount on steam so lets go. I came with the prejudice the game would be horrible based on general conclusion on Metacritic; i usually take user score as base score instead of "Pro" reviewers. While i find the story pretty simple and shallow, i really liked the overall experience on Unity. The game isnt just about the main quest, but much of the game is done thru several side quests that touch on french revolution stories. I also like AC to offer a way of exploring a city, in a historical context, and i found Paris very good, its nice to walk around. You are basically limited to Paris and Versailles, but i dont think its that bad. Paris is giant. The overall parkour and combat system is revamped. Some people hated it; it requires some play style change, but i really liked it. For the first time, i found it to be better challenging, on some initial missions i was even getting killed! Generally AC was always too easy, and i think its improved. Mission styles also changed, and i think for the better. You have some goal, and you can determine how you will do the job. The overall goals remain same: rob something, kill someone. Tail is better than before, i always hated tail missions. I never liked much AC MP, but the way the missions are integrated into the game is nice, i really found it. The bad part of it is the bugs. I counted on 5 days 4 missions i needed to abort on MP because something happen that impede the game to end, like an activated trigger that still counts as not activated. It can be frustrating. MP missions (co-op) can also be played alone (private) and some, especially 4 player missions can be pretty hard to be done alone. One thing that really didnt fit in was the Initiate chests (gold) and blue (AC Companion). I hate being forced to use another app; gladly Ubi dropped Initiates, but still, you need the AC companion. Some people complaint, a lot, because the game support micro transactions (HELIX) to unlock content; this is really not compulsory, and you can purchase with Livres all the equipament, but it will take time. I didnt found any micro transaction advertise in game to be extensive or intrusive as some people claim. I cant talk much about performance, because on my current cpu im getting constant 60 fps; i7 4790K, 16GB 2133mhz and Gtx 980. Im using all maxed except for AA, with max AA there is a very noticeable FPS drop, half or worse. The good - Nice graphics - New controls and gameplay - More challenging - More immersive MP co-op The bad - Requires a beefy machine to steady 60FPS - "camera lag" may not suit everyone - some minor visual bugs - Single player story shallow - need APP to unlock blue chests The ugly - All major bugs. Since last update, i dont found out many bugs, but the Co-op bugs drive me nuts. Im competing to have legendary locked gear and i hate that after 20 minutes on a mission i end up **** and need to quit the mission.

So here we are AC Unity is out i have the newest driver from nvidia just for this game installed and newest patch. Let's talk gfx first, it's very nice inside certain buildings and the facial expressions is nice, im not sold on the hair it looks out of place but a upgrade from black flag. When you step outside on the other hand it looks very bad, washed out not sharp city textures, frequent texture popping in and out, most npc looks like a copy paste job. Now let's talk about performance i myself have a 780TI OC-ed to 1150MHz boost clock paired with a 2600K at 4.8GHz at everything set to max with FXAA i run 60 fps most of the time with dips down to 40FPS here and there, for some reason the cut scene can go down to 24fps, i guess it's that cinematic feeling. Will give add 1 star for finally ubisoft have 16:10 native support and aspect ratio triple screen! Of course the frames in that is so bad it's not worth it. Moving on to game play, the new climb and run mechanic is just garbage, please just delete it and bring the classic style back. Weapon game play is the same as always nothing bad to say about it. I cant get into the story as a player that has played all other AC games to date and it just bores me.You also cant open all chest if you do not have a mobile or tablet app. All in all 2 out of 10 stay away and let's see if they will butcher far cry 4 and the division next.

I have an AMD graphic card. The consequence is that the game is so slow it's unplayable (~10 FPS) even with the minimal graphic settings and lowering the resolution to the lowest allowed.

I don't understand this game. I mean what ubi did with this game. AC is a really good game with enjoyable story and with lots of freedom but this game... Story was a big question for me. They just start it somewhere else so it's not AC for me just a game where we can fight like in AC. Graphical changes are nothing. Just the same as AC Black Flag (it's ok but why no improve? I don't need too much just a bit but they did nothing :( ) I can't say anything else. It's just a big big disappointment!

Ubi$oft games in a nutshell! i7 3770k @4.9GHz, 16GB RAM, 2x GTX 780 (2-way SLI), ACU installed on a high-end Samsung SSD. ----------------------------------------------- Ultra preset settings: 1920x1080p Average fps = 36 Min fps = 11 ----------------------------------------------- Ultra preset settings: 1440p Average fps = 24 Min fps = 6 Sub 30fps on an i7 running a huge overclock and 2 780's in SLI - This is why Ubi$oft games are pirated more than any other games from any other companies! Because Ubi$oft keeps on releasing AAA games in such a poor unplayable state that consumers think, why the hell should I pay $£€60 for a broken, unfinished piece of rubbish, but yet, they take no notice and keep releasing broken games. DayZ Standalone is in early access alpha... *ALPHA* and it has fewer bugs, glitches and crashing issues with better FPS than ACU. Assassin's Creed Unity sealed it for me - I will never buy another Ubi$oft game, not until they stop this BS and start releasing games in a playable finished state, only then will I even consider giving them my money. (The sad and worrying thing is though, hundreds of thousands of people still pre-order their games every year even when they keep getting burned every time. People need to wake up and start voting with their money, that the only way a company like this will listen and change.) [Edit - Spelling, grammar and more info added.]
