Chuck's Challenge 3D reviews ( 6 )
Chips challenge was a big part of my childhood so this game gets all my nostalgia points. Besides that in and out of its own its a great puzzle game, with really simple mechanics that can get some complex puzzles. There's a lot of different puzzle types, and they all play out great (including those horrid box puzzles which make me jump out of my chair when i finally win them without actually knowing what just happened). You can even create your own puzzles if you wish :) Also OMG the undo, there's finally a undo button, no more of that "well i'm screwed" feeling from good ol' chips challenge. :) Play it, you won't regret it :D
This is an excellent game that brings up to the level of current games a very lovely old game that a lot of people growth with. I've played many hours and I still haven't beaten all the 6 packages, but I also enjoy playing many of the weekly puzzles and the levels made by some particular creators!! Awesome.
Another great game from the creator of the classic Chip's Challenge. Plus you get to make and share you own levels. There are some amazing level that other players are making.
This is an excellent puzzle game from a grand master of game design. I don't see that the PC port is messy, it looks, sounds and works just fine. In fact I was impressed with the clean interface, and the graphics on "fantastic" are more than shiny enough. The game has a nice built-in editor, and we can play levels shared on the net, including a weekly challenge. The game has 97% approval on Steam, and deserves a better metascore. Highly recommended.
Chuck's Challenge 3D definitely brings back the charm and puzzle design of the original Chip's Challenge. While it's not quite as good as the original, Chuck's Challenge 3D is definitely a lot of fun, and I'd say that it's definitely worth the $9.99 that I paid for it. It includes a level editor and custom puzzles can be shared with friends. There is also a weekly featured puzzle that is created by the community. The interface feels a little clunky, clearly designed for mobile first, but that doesn't mean that it's a bad PC port. The puzzles are fun, the game performs well, and I have fun with it. It doesn't appear to support Steam Cloud, meaning that levels that I complete on my laptop won't be synced to my desktop and other computers. This is sort of frustrating, but it's not a deal-breaker. In all, it's fun, and I like it.
I love this game, if u are a fan of puzzle games u will too. What is really cool is you can create your own levels and upload them and play other players levels too.
