Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris reviews ( 7 )

everyone is **** on this and i understand why. it IS a short campaign , it DOES recycle assets, it SHOULD have just been included as part of the base game. However, it is a better experience than the base game. during the base games campaign i was bored 80-90% of the time. it was dull , the writing was uninspired , it was too easy and i personally really did not enjoy it. the CoO campaign on the other hand was well written , with better encounters with the mobs. there was a lot less of the "stand here for 3-4 mins while a progress indicator increases and waves of **** flys at you". they either hired different designers for this, or they just put a lot more effort in. the heroic strikes are a welcome minor increase in difficulty. and the heroic adventures are a fantastic difficulty hike if played solo. the increased difficulty of the nightfall and the raid is also welcome.

I share the opinion on many things with my fellow posters here. The DLC is to short, reused parts and assets. I was done in under 1,15 Hours. Why so fast? Because you pretty much don't have to fight just run through and gun a little bit The Enemy Design is boring. You absolutely don,t know anything more about the Vex than before. The Story is still a huge plot hole in itself. Nothing gets explained. You don,t get to know what the Traveler is. Were it comes from, what it wants on earth etc. all the plot points don,t get resolved. It,s a big disappointment. I was worried about spoiling but there is not much to spoil here. The Gameplay, on the other Hand, is good. Fast and responsive. It,s a Powerfantasy though so the difficulty is pretty low overall. I had 2 Crashes in my playthrough, just a black screen and the game went. The Game looks great no doubt about that. Performance is good. I play on a 1080Ti and with a resolution of [email protected] with highest Settings. I pretty much always stay over 60 FPS, Average FPS 90-120(capped) my Final Thoughts: more of the same is what comes to mind with this DLC. And not in a good way. But it does not deserve to get a 0/10.

Buying this DLC is like buying a free update. 2 hours of a new atrocious campaign filled with 1.5 hours of recycled content. The other .5 hours is made of terribly designed tilesets that are easy to navigate and a lackluster boss fight. Exotics from Destiny 1 makes the whole "you lose everything and now you need come back with new gear" moot. It's a shame that this is coming from a company that pushed out one of the best shooters from the last decade.

Free to play games have a lot more conten in expansion, than this paid expansion in paid game! Activision and Bungie dont care about fans. And this xmas event absolutely confirm this, add more lootboxes!

How is this $20? They locked out players from previous content and placed it behind a DLC paywall. The base game wasn't even right to begin with and then they insult the players by releasing this piss poor excuse for an expansion. If your gonna be this greedy at least make a decent game. This greed has so deeply infected Bungie/Activision that they will literally force you to pay for the same content over and over and over again. Its like they came up with a scheme to push a subscription based model onto customers without them actually knowing it. Run don't walk to another game from a company that still makes real games.

Pay $20 for a couple missions and to unlock endgame content that you could previously play with the base game (Trials, Prestige Nigthfall, Raid). Scam.

They cut content from the main game so you have to buy the DLC. That is not ok and how you treat customers and also, just 2 months after PC release the first DLC? That is a effin joke.... DO NOT BUY THIS AND DO NOT SUPPORT THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOUR! SHOW THEM THAT YOUD O NOT LIKE THIS BY NOT GIVING THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
