Sets the new standard for tactical shooters. It can be fast paced action or careful planned tactics, you have a sizeable range of weapons to choose (some you need to unlock which represents the Police Dept's budgets). It's up to you to kick down doors to arrest parole violators, respond to a shootout at a shopping centre, rescue VIPs from embassies, defuse bombs, use stealth tactics and silenced weapons.... the list just goes on and on. The modding ability is extremely able to use, you can easily create a new mod, new maps, etc. in a few minutes. That is of course if the random mission generator is not enough for you. Highly recommended - giving 10/10 for Alpha and 10/10 for Release.

Tactical top down graphics SWAT game with the same buzz you get from a first person shooter game. Layout your plans as you go and tactically secure your objectives. Plenty of action as well as tactics. Endless replay value with mission generator and easy to use map maker, together with regular updates.

A game put together with a lot of love and attention to detail. Addictive and rewarding, excellent audio and music, and most importantly, a lot of fun.

Still in the alpha stage, but o man, this game is promising! Getting back from all time favorites in the tac genre like SWAT4, Doorkickers gives an unique possibility to control your own deadly SWAT team. But this time not from the ground, but from above. This means that macro-managing your operation will be very important, to have every body on the ground on the right spot at the right time. But at the same time, the AI is giving you a hard time killing them, so micro-managing every encounter is a must too. Varying from Close Quaters Combat with two guys covering eachother backs, to more open spaces with teams from 6, this game gives an all out experience from controlling your very own team. Future addition look amazing, so this game is one to keep in mind the coming months!

Very good. A lot of possibilities, even if some are miss (need a little more weapons, and tactical actions). Multiplayer is non-existent too, it's very disappointing. But the solo is huge ! A hundred of unique missions plus a mission generator, and a complete editor to do it yourself. 3 campaigns, cool but not enough taking, poor scenario but attaching customizable team of 10 SWAT. I love it ! It fell me missing again the perfect SWAT series, mainly the third and the fourth... Try them if you can, on GOG you can vote for in the wishlist. :)

I went into this game with low expectations, it being alpha & all.. We've all bought into bad alphas at least once; but, this game is impressive. It makes you use tactical strategy & leaves you thinking "I can do it better next time". Even the next day after I got it I caught myself running through maps in my head. Plus my son loves it too. So I give it an 8/10 and after the full release w/ all the tweaks it'll only get better. I recommend this game to any tactical loving gamer...

No clear way to get "squad levels", I'm guessing you complete solo missions before the campaign to unlock? Bug on the first level, I could not delete a "planning node" once set under arbitrary conditions; The issue would just show up every once in a while, no matter what skill I picked to use. Tactically boring: make a small move, look for "tangos" if found kill, if surprised, restart level, make new plan, repeat. More of an elaborate game of "Simon Says" than anything else. Also a little racist? All the "tangos" had darker skin tones, from what I could tell.
