Fallout 4: Far Harbor reviews ( 7 )

Brand new map , new monsters , weapons , story , interesting cast . Fallout was already damn good game, and the previous was great too. but this new dlc is really worth the money .bethesda always succeeds to deliver more interesting stories to the fallout universe.

It sad me, bc this game will get attack quick, but the true this DLC is really good, it add alot that was missing on the main game. Bethesda promise us the biggest land mass THEY have ever done and is true it is, is bigger that Dragonborn. The place is amazing and the whole isle take around 20-25hs to complete so as a DLC is worth the price.

Great expansion for Fallout 4, enjoyed the new gear, weapons, characters, and really the atmosphere in general. The only thing I didn't like was that it felt too short for a $25 dollar expansion but otherwise a great expansion.

I have really mixed feelings about this one. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love Fallout 4, BUT. Far Harbor supposed to be a BIG dlc and it is ... in a way.. The problem is that is took my just 4 hours to finish it. (And about two hours i was trying to beat that stupid "memory" level, you will see what i mean). So yes. It is full of contend (meaning size of new explorable space) but quests are blend are characters very narrow. Its fine addition worth of money, but nothing special...

I love the start of this, the fog was creepy, the idea of some more detective work and discovery was a good premise and of course the new coastal setting is something I happen to really love. This DLC suffers from bloated map locations with the only purpose of housing a pile of hostiles; now I don't mind a good old shoot out but it gets ridiculous. When it come to game play the base game took a left turn, any DLC that follows suit will have the same elements and same flaws, this does just that. Map design is is horrendous, hilly and platform like is limiting, the base game does this in areas as well, it is retarded, I have been forced to go lateral for one 5th the map trying to move forword, thank god for jetpack mods with no ap limitation. (the main quest will force some platform jumping in first person and floaty as hell) . I learned new colourful words such as **** and "you **** **** good luck soldier. Download If you like the base game, its more to explore.

Its a decent DLC, kinda like Point Lookout, but not that good. It has a few interesting quests but a lot of irrelevant ones where you constantly go from point A to point B. Kill that enemy, then kill that other one. Plenty of useless locations with nothing relevant, but overall, they created a nice atmosphere in the island. Wish it was a bit longer though. The puzzle simulation is absolute BS. What were they thinking?

Dreadful frame rate at times, I mean like very bad. I've played Homefront and it even beats that in bad frame rate. The DLC brings nothing memorable. Possibly 1 of the most underwhelming DLCs after playing some of the best stuff out there recently.
