Game of Thrones: Episode Six - The Ice Dragon reviews ( 7 )
A great ending with impactful (and very tough) choices to make. Bleak, emotional and poignant juste like the book and the TV series. Only problem: the technical and mechanical aspectsof the game do great disservice to this amazing and well crafted story.
I feel like playing as Rodrik gave much more satisfaction because you could actually take revenge. I don't really care if this was a setup for another season, a lot of games do that. The only thing that i did not like was that Mira's story felt rushed. But i enjoyed the episode. It was not bad.
This is not how you end a season. While the whole game wasnt really all that interesting to me (although I'm a huge fan of the A Song Of Ice And Fire saga), the final episode was especially lackluster. There was no closure to the majority of characters and it was a painfully obvious setup for their next season, which will most likely be a cheap cash-crab after this introduction. I dont get how they can release something like this, after Tales From The Borderlands had such an epic and fantastic final. Skip this one and play Tales From The Borderlands instead.
A finale for a supposed season that doesn't actually conclude any of the major (or even minor) subplots of the series. No matter how hard you try to put the forresters in a good position, their strange incompetence just ruins any semblance of realistic outcomes.
The ending of this season of game of thrones is simply a money grab by telltale games. You questions get answered at all. It all end with several cliffhangers.
Horrible. Liked most of the series but teltalle contiinues with it's ''choice matters - NOT''. SPOILERS AHEAD: No matter what you do, everybody dies. Every frickin body. (You can choose to save one person - although I gurantee that person will die in the next season episode 1). Some of the dilagoue is missing, sounds too. Some times the sound lag behind the voice.Horrible, never buying a teltalle game ever again.
have no idea why people are rating this episode so low, while loving the rest of the series. still have the same game of thrones feel to it as the previous episodes, and is really action packed too. your decisions also seem to matter for the first time in telltale history. without spoiling anything, i will just say that the game will actually punish you in some way if you are not careful. it also has an awesome ending cutscene where the main series actors narrate the happenings based on your actions. sure there are a lot of cliffhangers, but thats not a negative thing as far as i'm concerned, since that means that there might be a season two. overall i think this might be the best episode yet in the TTG game of thrones series.
