Hearthstone: Journey to Un'Goro reviews ( 5 )

Absolutely love this expansion! Last one (Mean Streets of Gadgetzan) was a bit lackluster, I didn't like the theme and all that cards did was the creation of annoying aggro pirate decks. Journey to Un'Goro is just the opposite. I love the theme and atmosphere of all the wild life, dinosaurs and flora of Un'Goro crater is just beautiful. In terms of cards it not only creates a ton of cool new minions, but also a variety of quests, allowing each class a brand new gamestyle. Probably my favourite expansion yet, the only problem i have with it is that there are so many new legendaries, but they are so hard to get without spending millions. I even bought the initial 50 packs bundle and got only 1 legendary out of it. This is something Blizzard should improve. 9/10

Love Hearthstone in all it's aspects. But I hate the quest cards, they're real game spoilers and give me a "pay to win" feel. Will quit the game because of them

Unguro is the best expansion in a while. The quests are a little lacklaster for the most classes bar rogue and warrior. But the new adapt and elemental mechanics are great, The meta feels fresher despite the prevalence of pirate warrior, meanwhile wild feels oddly more balanced. If there wasn't so much favour for scummy aggro decks it'd rate higher.

Frustration based game with added programming to ensure people stay at a certain amount of frustration so they are more likely to pay money in a futile attempt to end their frustration. The game is designed and programmed to make you feel bad so long you try to pay to get rid of the bad feelings. Why play a game designed to make you feel bad?

Love the concept but double gold is a money grab by Blizz I can't forgive. Why the focus on legendaries? To get us to buy more packs. Cheap. I thought more of you Blizzard.
