Hidden Folks reviews ( 4 )
When I first learnt about Hidden Folks I was immediately drawn in by the adorable, incredibly detailed black and white drawings by Sylvain Tegroeg. That was when visiting the Indie Mega Booth, where I had the chance to talk to Adriaan. Ever since, I've been waiting for the release. And luckily, the game does not disappoint. You can spend A LOT of time not even really playing, but just exploring the differently themed scenes. Playing in this case means not only to tap on the folks or items you are to find, but also to interact with the rather vibrant world, discovering funny things everywhere. Playing on an iPhone feels a bit cramped and involves a decent amount of scrolling, so on the iPad the experience is superior, but it's still easily playable on the iPhone. tl;dr: Hidden Folks is an amazingly styled, relaxing game. Recommended.
This game is a great, relaxing game that makes you want to play more Hidden Figures games. I hope they make a sequel to this cause it was a lot of fun trying to find the people in this game. The only bad this about this game is the eye strain.
A great hommage to Where's Waldo? but improves upon the idea by using a more interactive world. A game with a simple yet good looking graphical style with sound effects made from someone's mouth. That is very original and funny. There's even a night mode (uses a sepia/orange overlay) and a dark mode (inverts the colors) so you can even play this game at night. Recommended for 7,99 and if they ever plan to raise the price, it would still be worth it.
This is a delightful, relaxing game. I bought it on release, on the strength of the trailer (what's not to love about all those cute mouthsounds:). I like it, and it's fun to play with my kids.
