Left Behind: Eternal Forces reviews ( 5 )

JinxM., Jul 12, 2007

Not a perfect game, but it's a lot better than a lot of the garbage that is getting better scores here. Shadowrun beat this? Please! The company has been very faithful and timely in issuing free patches to address bugs and to improve gameplay. I suspect many reviews are based on the non-patched version. (And what game these days does not need patches?) I also suspect many reviews are based on prejudice against the religious beliefs held by the makers and presented in the game.

If you have read the books, or even seen the movies that were made, you would probably enjoy this game. Granted it's not the best developed RTS out there, but it is the cleanest! And, finally a game that gives a real message about where you will be if you don't change your views and continue to follow the degradation of this world.

When I saw a commercial for this I thought it was a joke. Then I found out it was real and knew that it had to be bad. It looks like what would happen if all those holy rollers who stand out on street corners every friday would make if they decided to make a video game. It gets a one only because of the humour factor.

Way way way too difficult to even complete the 3rd mission. Difficult to understand objectives and the constant threat of making a minor mistake and having to relive the nightmarishly bad level again make this game a poor choice for anyone... However with a little TLC this game could be amazing.

Broken gameplay, annoying camera, terrible storyline, and often disturbing...For instance, when you "convert the Antichrist", they turn from a multi ethnic group into a completely white group...very, very disturbing.
