Yiiiieeeeeeah bro this is awesome. The most frenetic and colorful and fun FPS I´ve seen up to this point. I could spend hours playing it, and listening to the incredible soundtrack and shooting at red squares and just having fun.

Fast, Fun and Amazing. 3 words I could use to describe it. I enjoyed every second I spent with this game I wish It never had to end. The amazing soundtrack and world design were creatively memorizing and the fast paced shooter gameplay blends right in! Worth the 6 dollars easily

I hate FPS so much, but I really love this game. It's hard, so you have to replay levels over and over and over, but that's ok, because you will get better, then you will feel awesome. Actually, it's not that hard. You just need to be patient and fire at the right time. The hardest part is the jumping. The soundtrack is in my top 3 game soundtracks. I can't help but feel good when I play this. I don't know how you would go playing this with a controller though. Freedom Planet Arcade is a sequel of sorts, but really a different type of game that is easier to play with a controller

Simple mechanics with enough to wrap your mind around - like discovering new ways to shave milliseconds off your best times and climbing leader-boards - to make you not want to stop playing. The game lets you discover what the best way to beat a level is. And once you've found what works, perfecting the execution of your strategy is hella-fun! The visuals and music are obviously orgasm inducing - don't really need to go into much depth there. Buy it! You'll thank me.

Don't be fooled by the cute Katamari-esque style, this rapidly becomes a tough-as-nails twitch shooter that requires rote memorization, quick reflexes, multiple retries and excellent aim. Most of the negative critic reviews are because of exactly this: it's too hard after the first world, especially if you take the style at face value and think it's a casual game. But if you like twitch shooters and/or failure meatgrinders like Super Meat Boy you will probably love this. That goes double if you are competitive or into speedrunning, as there are integrated leaderboards, even showing whether you got perfect accuracy on the level or not.

My first impression was: I was playing Katamari Damacy again. Strange scenery, strange (and funny) musics and strange characters. It's not the most original game ever, but it's not only one more shooter to kill zombies and get in a safe place. Now it's kill bad red guys to get in a safe purple cane in a totally strange world with dark blue innocent guys. I think, it's good for pass the time, enjoy a calm music and get out with the same old zombie/war shooter games.

An absolutely brilliant game. This game oozes of style and design, and anyone who plays this is absolutely going to hit the fabled "Flow" state. Each gameplay mechanic is thought through and serves a purpose, and the worlds keep introducing new and challenging concepts, At no point did i feel cheated after a death, because i could always see how it was my fault and how to evade it easily a 10/10 game And then you reach world 4. World 4 introduces fog and homing bullets that come out from nowhere. And pop, just like that, the game lost its charm. No longer could a skilled player with good reaction times beat levels on the first try, now you had to restart the level over and over, until you memorised when and where the bullets would come out. When you finally beat the level the game would mock you by telling you it had hid an enemy on the level, and force you to go back to looking for it.
