This will remain my favorite game of the series until Medieval3 comes along(hopefully of same quality). If you liked the new games you should definitely try this one, if you didn't than more so you need to try this proper TW.

The AI can be largely improved, mainly the separate auto-management of units, agents, and taxes is missing. The game is the most spectacular mixing strategy and real-time tactics, but it lacks adequate management tools when the number of countries controlled becomes high. Turns become lenghty. Pathfinding needs reworking, as being real-timed makes it all too easy to lose a turn just by mistake.

Bloody terrible game. I loved Empire so i decided to try this game too and it was a huge letdown from the start. First of all i didnt find alot to increase the income. Only ones i found were the mines which barely gave any income. Increasing tax seemed to be the only decent way, but whats even worse is the way peace works. I was playing Spain and i attacked one of the rebel settlements. Then France comes in, deaclares war and takes the settlement. Few turns later they want peace. I accepted and like 12 turns later they **** declare war on me again. So yeah the peace mechanic is very terribly made and should have been made so that if you make peace then you cant declare war on that same nation again for like 50 turns atleast.
