A breath of fresh air into graphic adventures, with imaginative, varied and complicated puzzles, good graphics, music and sound perfectly accompanying the development of a story that grabs you as you progress with several plot twists and credible voices. Some minor glitches as a few dialogs misplaced, but nothing dangerous. It isn't for beginners in adventure games, some puzzles are really really hard. A must have for fans of good and demanding adventure games.

Memento Mori 2 is a "mixed bag". Positives include : Excellent plot & writing, surprisingly long 20-30 hour gameplay, the GFX are excellent for a point & click adventure genre game. It felt very atmospheric throughout. The ambient sounds are also well done. But there are quite a few negatives : Some of the lengthier puzzles are annoying and have a "grindy" feel to them. There are quite a few bugs mostly related to English voice localization (so it may not be the same for other language versions). I know this is a central European originated game and English voices appeared to be retroactively added in at a later date, but they are quite poorly done to the extent the developers should seriously think about re-doing them and re-releasing. Aside from voice acting of one or two minor characters being poor & amateurish, even for the main chars, voices often don't match up with subtitles or are spoken at the wrong time, some lines are repeated, other lines are missing, one or two lines for the main characters even appear to be "filled in" by another actor and then the tempo changed to make the pitch fit, which sounds awful. The main characters accents also no longer match the original game or supposed nationalities or backgrounds. Original MM had Lara (Russian) and Max (French) with accents that sounded at least half Russian / French! Now they and everyone else from Africans to Finns have exactly the same generic accent. It's a bit jarring & confusing when you play MM2 straight after the original. Overall I would have given this 8-9 out of 10 without all the bugs, but the bad voices drop it down to a 6. However, it's far from unplayable and if you can put up with above issues, the game is certainly worth a play-through on the grounds of the sheer length, excellent graphics and interesting "keeps you hooked" plot. If the developers are reading this, I hope they'll continue making a few more point & click adventure games in future. It's only really the poor audio production quality that's dragged the game's score down, which is sad because the overall visual GFX quality and game length is well above average for this type of game.
