I have played a bit of this on PS3 then on PC and it looks a lot better, especially the resolution causing the image to be more crisp instead of upscaled 720P. Also the framerate is no problem, the engine is very optimized and I can run this maxed out in DX10 easily. The controls aren't that bad, I've played other pc ports like Dead Space, Lost Planet, etc. You should just customize controls or simply learn it. I don't know why others complain about not being able to run and shoot when all the RE games have been like that, and it'll probably stay like that for quite a while.

Resident Evil 5 is sucha fun game to play. The graphics are really good. Gameplay is great. Sound and music is also good. The storyline is very good. And the thing that makes this game so great is ofcoure the Co-op. I gave it 9 becouse everything is just perfect with this game, but I gave it - 1 becouse of the not so long campaign. Otherwise its awsome. Buy it!!

I don't compare this game to any other Resident Evil and I've never played any of the previous titles before. I have played this game and have beaten this game the most out of any ps3 game in my collection and that I've rented from gamefly. There is something about the graphics, the story, the gameplay and the customization of weapons that keeps dragging me back in and making want to replay it over and over again. It isn't scary, it isn't horrifying and the game is filled with action more than survival horror elements. If you can get past this fact and play it with an open mind (especially if your an RE fan), you'll enjoy this ACTION game.

I liked this game. It looks really nice and it plays out very well. My only real complaint, which I have with Resident Evil 4 as well, is the aiming system. This is one of those games where it is extremely hard to play with a computer mouse. I say play it with a controller instead of a mouse. My second complaint is the voice acting. Even though it's Resident Evil, and that is to be expected, you would think that after 10+ years, they would have better actors by now. Other than that, this game is worth purchasing and playing.

This game looks really good. Graphics are great and the story line is very good. But what kills the fun in this game is that you feel like you have glue on your shoes. Controls are so bad for being a 3rd person shooter that you cant even imagine. Probably something you can get used to but i dont want to learn a whole new way of playing a computer game when i spend alot of money on them.

It has potential, but has so many basic design flaws. You'd think after four previous versions of the game, they would get things right. Different mouse sensitivities depending on if you are running or walking causes dizziness. The ability to buy guns and not ammo just represents a bad design decision. Interactive cut scenes just cause death while you try to relax in between levels. An obvious console port that is painful to play with a keyboard & mouse; yet the inaccuracy of a game controller for first person shooting frustrates matters even more. The best feature of this game is the co-op mode combined with decent graphics, but frequent disconnects will keep you looking for something else to play.
