Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice reviews ( 7 )

The game is good, beautiful graphics, common story and interesting gameplay. The biggest point of this game is precisely the gameplay, which makes it unique. I think it's harder than dark souls! I suffered a lot with the mini bosses

Simply amazing. As a huge Dark Souls fan this it's almost hard to say, but I think I like Sekiro more than any of the Souls games. Well Dark Souls (1) will always have a special place in my heart, but boy is Sekiro a good game. Looks gorgeous, sound design is great, movement is fun and fluid. Action is fluid, thrilling, challenging and very rewarding. One of the best single player games I have ever played, up there with Witcher 3, Dark Souls and the likes.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: Dark Souls the Anime is an excellent game with exceptional, finely tuned combat and great level design that lets it stand above the rest of From Software's already outstanding catalouge. 10/10

Лучшая игра от FromSoftware! Отличная боевая система, вменяемый сюжет, обалденный level design. Сложная, умная и безумно увлекательная. Best game from FromSoftware! Best battle system, good story, awesome level design. Hard, smart, the masteriece for real gamers. Other go cry to your moms)))

I love a good deal about Sekiro, but there's some issues I feel can be a hamper for those looking to dedicate to it. I'mma get into just that: Pros: - Fantastic rhythm-based combat. What it lacks in variety, it more than makes up for in its depth, precision, its feel and the satisfaction of scoring death blows. Also, the shinobi prosthetic is a great, unique tool to use in fights against the many enemies. - Movement is quite possibly the best it has ever been in a From Software title. Fluid, fast, vertical and fun. - Well-made stealth mechanics that make it a must for those who wish to gain an edge over the enemy. - Great boss lineup, as per usual with From Software. - A satisfying learning curve. For those willing to dedicate, there will come a time where the game clicks, and you become way better than before. For me, this came around mid-game, but boy, did it feel good. - Great voice acting in general. Even with those who do not favor reading subtitles akin to an anime sub, you will be fine, knowing this. - A well-done, engaging story to boot, on top of the great gameplay. - Solid soundtrack that gets the job done. - WOOOOOO! A useful tip, since I can't come up with neutral points: - Do NOT treat this like a Souls game. You will get killed with that mentality. Treating it more like Guitar Hero is what got me to get better at the game. It may not be for everybody, but that's just me, and this *is* my review. Cons: - Not much replay value. Unless you wanna see the multiple endings, you're not getting much past beating the game the first time. - There's one end-game boss that just...doesn't fit with Sekiro's gameplay style. I won't spoil who, but I'm sure it's known who at this point. - Not a lot of variety in the combat. All you can really customize is your choice of approach, the shinobi prosthetic and what items you carry. Overall, a great game, but it has issues that make it hard to come back to, at least for me. Still, if you want a challenging action game with solid stealth mechanics, a good story and a learning curve that is very satisfying to learn, this is for you. 8/10.

The world is pretty bland and boring, the combat system - shallow and uninspired. Feels like a chore choppingup the helpless enemies with the minuscule amounts of damage the only weapon in the game does... Was not expecting much, got exactly that.

Spider-Man: Trainer activated Enjoy the unique japanese Spider-Man, where you don't need to kill anybody or upgrade attack power or health. Just spam the grapling button and fly trough the whole area to the end, where you meet boss or mini-boss, who will kill you on 1 hit. That's why, you don't need to upgrade your health or attack power, because both is useless. But if you manage to kill anybody, just walk behind him and press attack, which is instakill. And if you fail that, get ready for the Assassin's Creed parry style. Just keep holding block, wait for enemy to hit you and then press attack button to get another instakill. End up with activated trainer, because you won't have nerves for this sh*t and just go trough the locations, because you've already paid for this.
