Ok , so everybody is hating for lack of content and a very repetitive game play. Lets look the pros and cons of the game PROS: Amazing graphics. Excellent servers. Easy to learn, hard to master gameplay. All the maps are filled with stuff Also they are very detailed and true to the original movies. The feeling when you get while playing this game is almost as if you were in the game-movie-Star Wars The 3rd person is how its meant to be played AND ITS AWESOME. The soundtrack The vehicles The sounds True to the previous Battlefront games. CONS: The one liner voice overs are terrible. No its not repetitive. No its not a generic FPS. Its not meant to be played as an FPS. Its just an extra feature. The game is easy to learn, but its not by any mean "soulless" and "casual". For the usual metacritic scum who are here just to destroy this game ratings, i have no comment. For the rest Star Wars- Sci Fi fans I say only this : Buy it. It worth's it.

Currently just played about 4 hours total. Played every game mode and the battles 20vs20 are awsome. Great graphics, great sound good gameplay. I do agree that the game is limited with the current number of maps and can get a little repetitive. Is the game worth 80$ (here in Canada), I would say meh depends. i bought it for I am a huge fan of Star Wars. I just but the normal game no extras to wait and see if the season pass will be good enought. Also for all those who keep bashing and hating and saying this isnt battlefront 2 and blablabla, it is not the same developper and the same game style. THIS IS NOT A BF4 or HARDLINE SKIN ! To concluded, dont listen to bashers or haters, find the information you need if you are not sure but I recommend it, maybe wait for a sale if your'e in Canada but a must for SW fans.

EA's newest release can be summed up into one game. Battlefield 4: Star Wars edition. As a Star Wars fan, I can say that this game fits the bill as an accurate representation of the Star Wars world. Great sound. Outstanding graphics. Both things that anyone can enjoy. Despite this, Star Wars Battlefront lacks the actually "Game" factor of being a video game. The lack of game modes and customization make Battlefront a game that you can pick up, waste some time with, and then put back down without ever playing it again. In all honesty, I feel restrained, as if I'm being stuck inside a house, looking at a beautiful beach on the coast, but cannot go outside. This is the best way I can explain battlefront. Just a large, beautiful looking game with a massive amount of lost potential.

Pros: - Graphix are impressive - runs very smooth on decent PC - "feels" like Star Wars. Cons: - Card system sucks. - multiplayer sucks (no server browser, get crap ping / connection most of the time, servers are empty, no team-balancing) - poor map designs - no level destruction - lame weapons - vehicules suck (get your X-Wing shot down by a blaster, or by camping tie-fighter waiting for x-wing spawn to shoot you down the second the vehicule intro finishes) - Heros suck, they are way overpowered and dying to one is a given - Players customisation is a joke I could go on, but it's been already said 100x.

Most game modes have 4 maps only. Other modes have 7 tiny maps. Lack of weapons. Servers are super bad (lag spikes on my 80/80 mbit connection) Poor map design (unbalanced) The power pick up is super stupid. No classes. Why is Droids vs Clones not a thing? Probably some overpriced DLC. If your random partner disconnects, it doesn't find you a new one. The graphics are nice but it doesn't really matter if its just an empty shell... Seriously lacks content. Im so glad I only spent 40$ on this pile of space crap

Disgusting piece of **** pay2win game. Lootboxes everywhere. Seriously if this is where the gaming industry is heading then i want no part in it anymore. It appears that only Indie developers are creating games without pay2win microtransactions. Now the big game companies are even implementing microtransactions in buy-to-play and singleplayer games...

This is only about graphics. It's missing content like maps, heroes, game modes and much more that were present in the old battlefronts. 60€ for this it's just robbing.
