Titanfall reviews ( 7 )

This game has taken me back to the magic days of first discovering Halo:CE...the thrill of competition and a really good multiplayer game. I haven't really enjoyed an FPS online since Modern Warfare 2. The thrills and fun this game brings are just great. Are the graphics the best? Nope. Is there a storyline? Not really. Are there a zillion million weapons? No. Is there an insane amount of fun that leaves me shaking after basically every round from adrenaline? You bet. It takes me back to a simpler time when we weren't worried about all the stigma the FPS genre has around it these days; back to just running around like mad and shooting things. If you are looking for an in depth, story-driven game, this isn't for you. However, if you are looking for a fun way to kill a few hours and not even realize it...pick it up!

It's been a lot of years since I've enjoyed a shooter quite this much. Titanfall is a seriously nice change of pace from your run of the mill shooter. There hasn't been a fast paced high mobility FPS on the mainstream market for years and years, and I forgot how much I missed high mobility shooters in general. Speaking of which, the movement in this game is insane, in a good way. In any other shooter the things you can do would be considered broken, but not here. On highest settings this game is glorious to look at and the sound is superb. When you're in a titan it feels like you're piloting a mech, and when you're on the ground you feel like a badass ninja super-pilot. I highly recommend this game to anybody that likes multiplayer shooters.

The game is awesome, waited 10 years now since the release of Wolfenstein ET to find an online shooter that is worth to play with no lame movement like the most shooters have. Its just too sad that Respawn doesnt allow to have own rentable private gameservers where the same people can meet whenever they want without having to be friends on Origin and build up great comunities this way. I hope Respawn will give us the possibility for this sooner or later cuz, the private match implemented is by far not the same thing.

Titanfall was only a 7/10 game for me. It was one of those many overrated games which looks far better than it plays. The biggest problem I had with it was that half of the load out options seemed useless so there was not enough variation.

Titanfall it's an amazing game. It really is. But it falls short in everything it tries to pull out. I mean, the gunplay and the titans are amazing, but there's no real sense of progression, and some maps are great while some others aren't... And it is really limited by the number of players by match. While I can understand that Titanfall wouldn't work with 32 players by match, I can't help but feel that the maps are empty, with bots populating it. And the campaign is not really a campaign, so nevermind. And I am proud to see that the team tried to make something to compete with CoD and Battlefield. Honestly, CoD has been sucking for 6 or 7 years, and Battlefield is becoming a lazy franchise. We need some competition to improve the quality of the genre, but Titanfall falls short. So, to sum it up... Yes, it is really fun, but is worth half of its price, primarily because it gets old, really fast. Get if for something like $30 or $40 and you won't regret it.

I think Titanfall is a lot of fun. However that doesn't mean I'll slap a green rating on this game. The $60 price tag is OUTRAGEOUS and that doesn't even factor in the extra cost of the "expedition" pack. Pfffft. Also the load times are atrocious. Click play "loading" click play campaign "loading" after teams fill "loading" oh wow I finally get to play now

this game shouldn't exists , it's full of fps drops , freezes, in a **** shooter if you freeze you're dead, don't buy it , it's a **** waste of your money
