World of Warcraft: Legion reviews ( 7 )

So **** cool , love this expansion.... the world building, quest design and level scaling is just genius. As a game designer myself, i really respect what blizzard are trying to do: to save a old but good game.

Legion is looking incredibly promising so far: not only did it have great launch, has tons of content, but also patch 7.1 has already been announced with even more content, so let's hope this expansion does not suffer WoD's fate.

So far it is a stellar expansion! The questing is more fun than ever before and now with a ton of voice-acting and cinematics, it just oozes good story. The artifacts are amazing and a ton of fun! And the fact you don't need to level in particular order is just amazing!

Great game compared to the previous expansion. There is a new class, and some new way to do daily quest, but instead of daily quest they are world quest, still get repetitive after a while, but that is just the way the game plays out. If you have any interest at all in the world of warcraft games this shouldn't be missed.

Like most expansions the initial story is pretty good. It pulled me in and I enjoyed leveling my main and even building my order hall was kinda fun. But then it hits with their patented brand of rep grinding to unlock quests to grind more. I wanted to unlock flying, but after doing some simple math I didn't want to spend the time repeating generic quests to fly around a continent I was already bored of. It just feels like end game progression has no choices, its rep grind the only way possible. I can't say it was worth the price, but I had fun until endgame.

Lousy story... more of a chore than past expansions, especially with Class Order Halls. The Broken Isles are tiny, and they run like crap on even good PCs. The game is incredibly buggy, vertical sync is broken, and it simply feels like a rehash of Burning Crusade.

If you thought world of warcraft was bad, the expansion is even worse. No game play improvements what so ever, no fixes to auto targeting where you dont even have to look at your enemy to shoot them ect, fetch quests galore, no customization and still, the worst of it all a SUBSCRIPTION FREE? Are they out of their minds? From blizzards mishaps of diablo 3, starcraft 2 and world of warcraft, the company doesn't seem to know whats good anymore. I would stay away and play much better games like Path of Exile
