This is by far the best game I've ever played and I'm afraid it will be the best one .. at least untill CD Project Red releases The Withcer 4 of course. Reading those bad reviews is like comedy for me. This game sets new standars for games of all genres. The storys told by this game in every single small side quests are ridiciously amazing. I had to catch myself mutlpy time starring at the monitor with open mouth after realising I just completed the smallest side quest of this game having a better story than other games main story. This is a masterpiece in every form of the definition of masterpiece and EVERYONE who likes to play at least A LITTE is OBLIGATED to play this Game. The support of CD project red is the best you will ever get and the DLCs... what can I say, other games want you to pay 10 bucks for a new SKIN, in there you get what DLCs really are supposed to be and even more .. it's outstanding. Everyone who rates this game under at least 8 points is not worth living on this planet.

CDProjectRed lied alright: the consoles version doesn't run like the PC, the PC is much superior. I'm truly relieved as I feared the PC will run like the potatoes. Discard any concerns you have about graphic downgrade, the game is stunningly beautiful and with a GTX 970 I'm running a solid 60 FPS at 1080p, granted the hairworks hit the frame rates down to 40-50, but it's not really a game changer. The game is well optimized and run great considering how big the world is and the landscape, lightning and faces details are gorgeous. As for the gameplay, it's head and shoulders above Witcher 2, very pleased especially about how smooth the combat is, and the story is so damn immersive that I have to cut this review short and get back to it. So many things to do in a truly grandiose open world grander than anything you've seen before.

Witcher 3 is with out question the best game I played in at least 5 years. It's a pinnacle achievement in interactive storytelling and should be used a yard stick for future, similar games. The meaningful, emotionally engaging story line, a huge game world that feels alive, great production values and most importantly of all: immersion. It's all here and accounted for.

First I have to say that I am PC game veteran and RPG fan - playing games over 25 years now. So I have a lot to compare including previous 2 installments of the game. And I have to say - Witcher 3 is incredibly good. I am over 100 hours into it and I still did not get bored. Some key highlights: - The game is VAST. I mean really vast. And in a good way which means it is large and full of things to do. Exploring the world in Witcher 3 is very satisfying. You get to get not only new items and toys you see in other RPGs, but you can uncover new quests and become part of different and interesting stories. - The quests are very well construcited. Quests are structured and layered, some quests have multiple subqests. Sometimes finishing a quest will naturally lead to another one. There is a lot of twists and yoyu will be faced with meaningful choices that will make you think about your character and world he lives in. I also really like the witcher sense implementation, which gives the game a detective like feeling sometimes. - The world is very rich in characters and lore. If you are interested you can read books, and spend hours in bestiary/character descriptions. - The combat system is well thought off, abilities are fun to use and thanks to respec functionality you can try new things in the middle of the game (which is a good thing given you could have invested over 200 hours already. I have a little beef with character movement that feels a bit clunky, but it is easy to overcome. Conclusion: if you are a PC you must buy this game. It is the best game I have played in a very long time. Although it is pricey it is worth every penny - there is enough content for you to experience for 10 anotherr games. Very well done CD Projekt Red.

Fantastic game! I was never interested when the Witcher 1 and 2 came out, but 3 caught my attention. I decided before 3 came out to play The Witcher 2 which was (despite the age) already great. The Witcher 3 is a game that will grab you into this great open world. I played at least 75 hours now and i am still enjoying it. Great graphics (you do need decent pc) and great gameplay. Story is good, good to follow, funny and mature.

Early review - only a few hours in. But finally we PC gamers have a game like Red Dead Redemption, only with Witcher setting and story! That's all for now, but that should be enough...

Generic uninspired fantasy setting and a lead with zero emotion. The gameplay is good however, but everything else turns it down due to how generic everything is
